Alaskan Inspiration: Across Cook Inlet, Mount Redoubt rises more than 10,000 feet from the Aleutian Range, a snow-covered peak with something far more powerful beneath the surface.

One of Alaska's active volcanoes, Redoubt is a landscape of contrasts: fire and ice, dark volcanic rock and snow, rugged earth and shifting light. Around its slopes, Alaska's colors change with the seasons, rust and red across the tundra, golden grasses and brush, deep brown earth and wood, and distant mountains that can take on shades of plum and violet beneath an evening sky.

There is a wildness to Redoubt that can't be polished away. It is beautiful, but not delicate. Quiet, but never tame. And beneath all that beauty lies the reminder that Alaska is still being shaped by forces far greater than we are.

Alaskan Interpretation: We interpreted Redoubt with an intentionally rugged mix of stone and wood, allowing texture, color, and irregularity to tell the story.

Red Jasper barbell beads form the heart of the bracelet, their unusual shape and earthy red tones representing the raw, volcanic landscape. Tiger's Eye brings flashes of golden brown, while rich natural woods and coconut echo timber, earth, and the weathered textures of Alaska's wilderness.

Striped red Carnelian introduces a striking band of creamy white, a small nod to snow and ice against the warmer landscape, while Amethyst and deep plum wood capture the violet shadows that settle across the mountains as Alaska's light begins to fade.

Nothing in Redoubt is perfectly matched, because neither is the landscape that inspired it. Stone meets wood. Warmth meets cold. Rich color gives way to shadow.
